The Boundary Waters trip is already on his calendar!

I’ve been a little surprised that a California raised boy, now a married man, loves so much of Minnesota’s sports! Back in the day (before me) he was a lifeguard out there. And he was gorgeous then too! But I got him; not a honey-blonde, blue-eyed, California girl! God is good!

HUSBANDS: I’m excited and joyful for his interests! And, I support them 100%! The one thing I ask, is please: “Don’t go hunting alone!”  I know he believes he would be fine. Because he loves and honors me as well, he respects this loving request. All husbands: go and do the same… Be glad your wife cares about your hobbies and your safety in doing them!

NOTE: The spiritual truths always come first. God does divinely protect us from physical harm: the challenge is when we’re not in faith, but in ungodly fear, we can fail. It is my relief that Duane will not take unnecessary risks when there is isolation from others. In Heaven we will never have to fight the satanic fear again!

If he decided he would go alone, I wouldn’t be happy; but, I would not pout! (That’s for wives who manipulate their men to get their way.) I would just let him know: I don’t approve…
