STUPID PEOPLE AMAZE ME (that is, I am bewildered) that they do not take time to see the end of the road; the end of their journey: their death. Come on! Everyone learns early in their life (unless, of course, they are taken by death at a young and unaccountable age) people die: which means — they too, some day are going to die. And that some day is coming for all of us…

Knowing this, is it wise to not choose to think about death? Of course not!
Why in Heaven’s name would one not prepare himself for it?! I believe, most likely, it is because the vast majority of people are living for themselves, living for pleasure, pleasures of their feelings, their flesh, thereby choosing to ignore the callingS of God to come unto Him and receive rest.
It is a fact that many people will literally yell, cheer, clothe themselves in excessive, even festive outfits for a Minnesota Vikings game, spending quite a bit of cash and using a lot of their lifetime experiences to watch THE GAME. Truly, some of these very same fans don’t cheer for God! Some of us Minnesotans don’t take any time for spending time in worship, prayer of thanksgiving – truly not even ON THANKSGIVING DAY!

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
When I listen to people outside the Church, mainly I hear people delighting in sharing evil. Many, many conversations I hear are such as these:
“Did you read about that horrific car pileup?”
“She was diagnosed with cancer!”
AND: one of the most satanic questions:
“Do you want to hear something sad?!”
Now, for those who choose wisdom: we know that’s an evil suggestion!
