AND TO EVERYONE ELSE:
while fully embracing the biblical truth that all people (of all time) come from two people, Adam and Eve, this Joy Story is set to honor and bless the Hispanic community world-wide.
Selah.
When I was just a little girl, and I’m certain I was three, not even four, I remember to this day standing outside in front of the neighbor’s house on the sidewalk across the street from mine and meeting a new girl for the first time. She was gorgeous! It amazes me to this day that I remember how I was in awe of her beauty when I myself was only three years old…
Selah.
At this time and this tender age, I had never yet seen such coloring in a girl. I was fair-skinned, blonde, (white blonde) blue-eyed. This other little beauty was darker; she had jet black hair, dark eyes that couldn’t have been any darker. Her name was Michelle.
See how I loved her? Sixty-five years later I remember her name…
Selah.
Looking back and thinking about Michelle decades later (and I never will forget her) I have come to the full belief that she was of Mexican descent. From that day forward I had my heart set on naming my daughter Michelle, for not only was this a most beautiful name to me: my new friend, Michelle, was one of the most beautiful little girls I had ever seen…
Without a lot of revelation, recently I shared my joyous news that I am now a great-grandmother! What a privilege! What a blessing! Beloved, I have always claimed that I will die at an old age (and to me, I start being old at eighty. Not now. I am currently, in 2024, sixty-eight. Good attitude, Ann!
Now my granddaughter (my very first grandchild) was born with blue eyes and reddish blonde hair. Other than dying it, her hair came to be mainly blonde. Her blue eyes are gorgeous. They are more of a sparkling kind of diamond-blue; different from mine, much more like her mother’s, and some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen… Now my great-granddaughter’s Daddy is totally different from her: I thought he was Hispanic when I first met him. I was right. He says he is one-half Mexican, one-half White. Fun for me! Before this, all of us look fully White: remember, we are all from Adam and Eve. Therefore, we all are mixed! And it is beautiful!
I have always endeavored to plant a deep love in all my family for God and mankind.
Herewith is one of my victories, a very important one: my granddaughter remembers me showing her a picture of a Black pastor and his White wife hanging on a wall with other pictures of pastors and spouses at our church; telling her “That’s not wrong,” I am always so thankful she embraced this truth!
I have always taught all my grandchildren: “You cannot be a Christian and be prejudice.”
And now I have a close blood family member who is partially of Mexican descent! She was born at the perfect weight of seven pounds, seven ounces. Seven is the perfect number, which her precious mother loves to embrace!
Now their baby (born in February) has darker skin that Mommy. Her Daddy jokes that she better not be darker than he is! Her eyes, at this time, are blue but a very different color of blue from her Mommy’s and mine. Personally, I am hoping they turn brown. I’ve heard it said that all babies are born with blue eyes; I can’t say if that’s true.
When I look at this precious, beautiful, and newest family member, I see mainly her Daddy. In fact, I told him that I hope she has brown eyes! It was so cute because he wants her to have blue, ‘so all the guys chase her!’ Me: I really wanted a dark-skinned, dark hair, brown-eyed husband!
Selah!
God loves variety! What I want you to see is the beauty of the colors of people: their skin, hair, eyes. Our God is the great God and His creations were made so for His glory and pleasure!
So, in honor of all Hispanics and everyone else:
please learn and embrace this teaching with all your hearts and souls:
In the Bible, the New Testament was written in Koine Greek. There is a Greek word, ἔθνος, which is pronounced eth’-nos. I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this with you! Of course, there shall remain doubters on Earth until Jesus separates the sheep and goats. Truly, that is their problem (the goats).
Go with me to Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21:
Matthew 24:7
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mark 13:8
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
Luke 21:10
Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Nation is equal to this Greek word, ἔθνος. And, ἔθνος also represents ethnicity! What an eye-opener! This is just one of Satan’s evil agendas, deceiving many by separating people in inducing the lie of superiority or inferiority due to the color of one’s skin… Only stupid, evil people believe this.
And –
God is the Great Creator! He loves to bring beauty! God has created men in His image and likeness:
Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Beloved, taking Scriptures, breaking down this Koine Greek word (and it was just one word here that is bondage-breaking) and putting Satan’s subterfuge into the study, this particular lie of his is easily exposed.
Selah.
Now let’s move on…
SATAN AND HIS KINDGOM:
only deceived and demented people can believe justifiably the skin color gives or takes away the value of a man.
Selah.
Who did God create? Mankind.
Who does God love? Mankind.
Who are His children?
Those who return His love, seeking to live for Him: willing to die for Him!
Revelation 12:11
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
Also remember:
“There will be no peace on Earth until The Prince of Peace is worshipped and loved by all in His sight, and those who reject Him are cast out of His presence.”
Be still and know who is God!
Revelation 22:11
Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
