TODAY IS JUNE 4, 2024. Half an hour ago it was eighty-four degrees. I am sixty-eight. I made up my mind a long time ago (as a child) I would live to be old (and I will consider myself old when I am eighty. Right now I consider myself older…
Our air conditioner is dead. It came with our home twenty-five years ago! Certainly we’ve gotten our money’s worth!
Selah.
I grew up without it and I absolutely would not have bought a home twenty-five years ago if I didn’t have central air. Now, for a short time in living here, a lot of windows are open and the dog may pant; maybe the cat too if it gets steaming. Wisely, I will keep them comfortable as possible…
Beloved, my entire life is based on loving, adoring, and worshipping God. I repent when I need to (planning on not needing to.) Joseph, in the Old Testament is an excellent role model and a foreshadowing of Christ. We can follow in his footsteps and walk with God.
Nehemiah 8:10-12
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
The Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Be still, for this is a holy day. Do not grieve.” Then all the people went away to eat and drink, to send portions of food and to celebrate with great joy, because they now understood the words that had been made known to them.
HAVE THIS ATTITUDE. This day (every day) is holy for the LORD. Don’t grieve, celebrate with great joy! Understand God’s Word and live by it!
Selah.
MY WEBSITE IS: www.joyeternalministries.com
This is what I minister every time I post: the joy of the Lord! Now, not being stupid, I also counsel you we will have challenges, ‘hard times’, persecution, as children of God…
NOTE: Children of God are spiritual Israel and the Church, The definition of the Church: Christ is the head / Christians are the body (we go into a church building.)
This is the Church:
Colossians 1:15-23
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
In addition, understand and accept this:
Colossians 2:13-15
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
Colossians 2:13-15 tells us these points:
MY ATTITUDE TODAY (as each day I strive for) is to thank God IN all things: NOT for all things. We don’t thank God for death, (the last enemy) poverty, (a curse) disease, (another curse.) That list goes on and on…
We thank God for delivering us from the evil one (Satan, of course) and his kingdom. We are to take authority and move that mountain…
REJOICE!
1 Corinthians 5:16-18 AMPLIFIED
Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 5:16-18 NIV
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 5:16-18 KING JAMES
Rejoice always and delight in your faith; 17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer; 18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
YOU MOVE THAT MOUTAIN:
Mark 11:22-26
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
BECAUSE:
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
