HUSBANDS: always (I mean always) rejoice in having an honest wife… no matter what.
For example, Duane is an excellent cook. When he was searching out a new career, (at the age of fifty) a chef was one option he considered. He makes the best eggrolls I’ve ever had! His favorite is Mexican (mine, Italian.) He makes these great as well; but when it comes to Kung Pao chicken, call the restaurant… I make no apologies. He gets much accolades for what he does cook – and cook with talented excellence! So when I tell him his Kung Pao is not up to the restaurant’s standard, he believes me!
If your wife is willing to lie (sin) it will not feel good for you when she tells the truth because you may not be sure… As a matter of fact, Duane knows his Kung Pao is not as wonderful. Again, however: he could get the recipe that would make it so!
