Truth, of course, is not opinion. Truth is not trendy. Truth is not style. Truth is not a thing. It is not an issue. Truth is not a culture. Truth is a Man; and not just any man. Truth is the Son of Man. Jesus is truth and there is no other way. In loving Him we are to emulate Him. The great Apostle Paul told us to follow him only as he followed Christ. In other words, beloved, only Christ is the perfect role model. We are not God, nor can we ever be: but we are His children when we allow Him to adopt us into His family.

What each member of the Church needs to continually strive to be is the professional Christian. Christianity is a continual choice. God’s Word tells us:

Philippians 2:9-13
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
