NOT ALL THAT LONG AGO GOD GAVE ME this word: “Just keep on being beautiful!” I am a pretty woman. I am a beautiful woman – inside and outside. God made me!

I remember well the occasion He gave me this treasured encouragement. We all need that. There was a situation with a neighbor, two actually. The one woman’s house is directly behind me and they have a dog that would come rushing into my yard and attack my two pugs if he were given any opportunity to do so. I plead the blood of Jesus every time I go out with Rocky and Riley (male and female.) I also regularly take a charged taser. If it were truly necessary, I would even go as far as checking out my legal rights in taking out a loaded gun to shoot to kill this truly vicious dog. He’s not going to get my puppies – not on my watch – and certainly not in my very own backyard! On one particular day, as the first woman’s dog was trying to charge my dogs, the other neighbor woman stretched her head to the top of her fence and told me something to the effect of: “Why don’t you just…!?” I am telling you people, she could not have looked at me with any more hatred in her face and in her entire demeanor! I looked at her mockingly and said: “What are you talking about?! This is my property!” My dogs were NOT the aggressors. They ARE barky: but whenever they bark at people I take them immediately out of the way when they bark at any neighbor, any person. However, I stand my ground when I am the innocent. God likes that! Christians are to supposed to know and cherish every right they have in Christ Jesus, forever praised. Amen! This is a huge part of our beauty! That’s why God told me: “Just keep on being beautiful!”  I did not return evil for evil – I just stood my ground – I stood upon my rights: my dogs, my yard, their safety – and mine!

By the way, when thinking of turning the other cheek Scripture, the context is in those preaching the gospel at that direct time – and be willing to lay down their lives for it! Beloved, I know the blood of Jesus and faith in His blood is more than able to keep me safe. I have Psalm 91 memorized (which is all about divine protection) and claim it daily. However, how many Christians really know Jesus told the disciples to sell their cloaks and buy a sword? This, I want you to open your own Bibles and read it for yourselves in Luke 22:35-36!

FOOTNOTE:  It does not take much intellectuality to see America and ISRAEL need to stand their hallowed ground against every evil empire and satan, himself! satan hates ISRAEL.. God loves ISRAEL and HE WILL DELIVER THEM! We Christians, too, love our Jewish brethren!

 

BIBLICAL PROOF!

“Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more.”  Psalm 83:4

 

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.  I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.  ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 4:1-4

 

BACK TO: “JUST KEEP ON BEING BEAUTIFUL!”  God is pleased with me! He told me so! You cannot be beautiful in God’s eyes if you don’t love Him, His people and love His enemies only in the way He tells us to. Challenge them! This is exactly what God wants for all of His children. And He wants all of mankind to be His children. All are not. Being beautiful for God is this:

• Our outward appearance is very insignificant to God…
• Our LORD looks at the heart.
• Christians are without flaw!
• We are a chosen people!
• A royal priesthood!
• A holy nation!
• God’s special possession!
• Declaring His praises who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light!
• Women and men who fear the LORD are to be praised!

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”  1 Samuel 16:7

You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.  Song of Solomon 4:7

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.  1 Peter 2:9

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.  Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.  Proverbs 31:30-31

My personal opinion to God’s and Paul’s potential use of sarcasm in this Scripture is: “Yes! They used it!”

Beloved, holiness trumps politeness and because Jesus said “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. (Luke 22:36) – it is true holiness for any child of God to defend his family, himself, his brethren – all for the sake of the LORD GOD Almighty! This is beautiful!

I don’t participate in political correctness (some politicians don’t even agree with each other, of course. And other’s are incontestably hateful to those of their ‘own’ party!)  I participate in the holiness movement – God and His Word – are One!
