STRONG DRINK!

TONIGHT AS MANY PEOPLE toast in the New Year the vast majority of Americans will lift a glass of champagne.

So many of us want to forget the bad times, the hard times, the horrific times. And that is good. That is wonderful. It is more advantageous to not only forget what hurts, but to correspondingly have the answer on how not only to forget hurts and move on but to look forward to utilizing every tool you can to make things better and bright.

Rather than using a strong drink to toast in this 2021 New Years that has the effect of disabling you, I have the answer! Yes, I do! Imbibe in the stronger drink: take the Lord’s Supper. Be truly aware of its power and blessings. Please be fully aware, you are not allowed nor blessed at all if you fake it. You must be born again, a child of God, which includes and never excludes your true love for Jesus Christ, Son of God, Son of Man, coming King, great I AM.

Only God can make all things new. Only He can bring peace to you when you focus on Him, sell out to Him and celebrate life and goodness unlike any worldly offer.

Matthew 26:26-28
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.  This is my blood of the^[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Luke 24:30-32
When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.  Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.  They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

John 6:53-58
Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.  For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”
