As long as we’re talking about love and the lovely this February let’s also talk about the opposite: bullies, cowards and creeps… After all, God is faithful and He wants His children blessed and at rest. Resting in the truth that it is impossible at this time in history to have peace with all men is one way to understand traumas and trials we children of God endure like a good soldier.
God told me verbatim:
“There will be no peace on Earth until the Prince of Peace is loved and worshipped by all in His sight, and those who reject Him are cast out of His presence.”
Selah.
We don’t have peace with the world. We can’t. Why, it wouldn’t even be right! And why is that? Because God has told us to be separate, come out from among them! Them? Them who? Those outside a holy covenant with Him. In other words, those who have no regard nor love for God…
Selah.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Do you think God is wrong? Do you think God is evil? You better not, for He is the One who wants saints and sinners separate. Not separate to the point of never praying for them, encouraging them, greeting them, doing business with them (but watch them!) He doesn’t want you to fellowship with them (sharing your heart nor spend frequent and personal time with them) and He definitely doesn’t want you marrying them!
Selah.
So as you celebrate romance this Valentine’s Day and love with your children, your entire family, your friends remember what God did to protect you from evil people; He put enmity between His children and Satan’s…
Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
And ungodly people are the devil’s children.
Selah.
HERE IS THE CONCLUSSION OF THE MATTER:
You are not evil because you cannot get along with everyone you love. Again, this is literally impossible at this time in history. There is coming a day when all will be eternally homed and those who love the true and living God will be at peace with all men.
Selah.
Romans 12:18
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
2 Corinthians 6:14-18
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY FOR SWEETHEARTS!
(And pray for the bullies, creeps & cowards!) Be a Stephen!
Acts 7:54-60
When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him. But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.” At this they covered their ears and, yelling at the top of their voices, they all rushed at him, dragged him out of the city and began to stone him. Meanwhile, the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
