As Christians today (and continually) celebrate the resurrection of our only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we still honor and cherish Jewish people, the Jewish brethren, Israel.
All Israel will be saved.
Selah.
Isaiah 45:15-17
Truly you are a God who has been hiding himself, the God and Savior of Israel. All the makers of idols will be put to shame and disgraced; they will go off into disgrace together. But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.
Romans 11:25-27
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is[f] my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
Israel always will be honored and loved by their God (and ours) and His Church. They are and remain the apple of God’s eye.
Selah.
Selah: pause and reflect. Please take time to think about the goodness of God and His love for all men. He has, without any hesitation, without any doubt, never lied. He has designed an everlasting covenant with the children of Abraham. Everlasting. Everlasting means everlasting.
Selah.
I declare to all people who hate Israel: you are wrong and you are evil. The Bible of the Jews and the Church make it undeniably clear the children of Israel are in the Abrahamic, everlasting covenant or they are Messianic Jews. Only liars and the ignorant (by choice) believe God is done with the Jews…
Go with me to the book of James; another book of the sixty-six which make up the Living Word, Jesus, the Bible. Here you will read in the greeting:
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings.
James 1:1
Who is James addressing here? The twelve tribes of Israel. And who is Israel when we are speaking spiritually and not at all naturally? Israel are godly Jewish people. The Messiah’s full identity is hidden from them temporarily. There are Jewish people who love God through the Abrahamic covenant and the Messiah is hidden from them temporarily. There are Messianic Jews who have had Christ revealed to them. Don’t ever forget whom God used to breathe the Bible through. Most all of them: Jewish.
And what is Jesus? Jewish!
So while the Church celebrates Jesus now – so will Israel!
SCRIPTURES FOR THIS EASTER JOY STORY:
Genesis 17:1-8
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.” Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, “As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”
Zechariah 2
Then I looked up, and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand. I asked, “Where are you going?” He answered me, “To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is.” While the angel who was speaking to me was leaving, another angel came to meet him and said to him: “Run, tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of people and animals in it. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will be its glory within.’
“Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Lord, “for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven,” declares the Lord. “Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!” For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye—I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me. “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord. “Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. 13 Be still before the Lord, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.”
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
