HAVE YOU EVER cleaned a refrigerator? Even though it’s my husband’s kitchen and he is the cook, the only cook (thank You, Jesus!) I am the one who cleans the frig. And: I do this on a regular basis. I hate a dirty refrigerator. I detest moldy, inedible food that looks and smells disgusting! I hate bad smells. And I hate not being able to recognize what that food was! Because of my diligence for perfection, my refrigerator (in Duane’s kitchen) is always in good shape!

Herewith is a great analogy:

JUST AS FRUITS AND VEGETABLES SPOIL (and as meat, and milk and a multitude of other physical elements come to decay) so do the lies of the evil one… Thank God! He knows his time is short and he doing his very damndest to enhance his kingdom of gloom, despair and agony with false preservatives… his wily ways: his lies. He is a liar. There is no truth in him and when he speaks, he speaks his native language – lies!

satan truly respects sin! He adores it! He works for it! His work is to destroy the works of his enemy! And who is and are satan’s enemies?!

God of course! First and foremost! He couldn’t be enough like him (no one can…) He was not worthy – and will never be – of worship by man nor angels, fallen or not!  No. No!

And my friends, the holy angels who watch over us are also the his enemies.

But right after God, the enemy he loves to hate; the enemy he loves to slaughter, steal from and totally destroy is the finest creation God has ever fashioned by His eternal glory. For you newbies, old bes in Christ, for everyone, everywhere, hear this: SATAN IS YOUR FIRST AND FOREMOST ENEMY….  even if you deliberately, knowingly and willing choose to worship and serve him now!!!

Whether evil or righteous, God loves created man. We are His finest work! And this we are, all of mankind, the very reason Jesus came to overthrow satan’s regime! Let’s spoil more of satan’s false preservatives of lies with seasoning our lives and other’s with salt.

We saints are the salt of the Earth:

“You are the salt of the earth.” Matthew 5:13

God made those who were sinners, saints. It is our choice to accept His word or deny it.

In the beginning there was God – and there always was, is, and will be.

And He said:

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image… Genesis 1:26

“Let us…”

And He did! We who worship Him and do so, holding firmly to the end the confidence in Christ we have, worship Him in spirit and in truth. We are victors over death, Hell and the grave.

Let us do so.

But for those who continue in rebellion, you are warned:

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. John 3:36

Yes: God’s wrath stands firm in the New Testament as well as the Old.

But let us take a look back in the precious Old Testament at another “Let us…”

“Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves… Genesis 11:4

Here is another Old Testament revelation that should never be forgotten. The Flood has been completed by this time. Noah and his family began a fresh start after the ungodly were wiped totally out by God, Himself.

And now enter yet more of the rebellious.

Please note: they wanted to make a name for themselves…  Before this vile rebellion, God gave all people one language and a common speech. They wanted their way; they did not want His!

Babel: a tower, a most famous word, a most infamous memory. They wanted a name for themselves. They wanted to build this tower to reach to the heavens.

God said:

“If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Genesis 11:6

He did not want this city. It was not in His blueprints nor was it in His footprints we are to follow.

“Let us…”

Our LORD God is the Almighty. His “Let us…” remains holy and impregnable.

Their “Let us…”  did not stand. It was stopped! Their unity became ununited…  Their “Let us…” became a mission impossible. They could not understand each other. They were sent confusion. They were purposefully scattered. Their plans, their “Let us…” would never occur. God would not let them! All praise to the King of Glory!

AND GOD SAID:  “Let us…”

Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.” Genesis 11:7

Beloved: God’s plan prevails. He allows suffering for a reason and a season. I adjure to read the first two chapters of Genesis and last two chapters of Revelation. Reading these four chapters, revealing in them the lack of curse, brings a deep breathe of joy and peace!

It is well with the believer who worships the King in spirit and in truth!

Precious people (that’s all of us!) the next time you are cleaning your frig, the next time you’re seeing dirt or mold, throwing out the inedible, grimacing at the foul and disgusting, remember this always — drink deeply of the Living Water and feast on the Bread of Life and be the salt of the Earth!

AND may you worship the One True God in spirit and in truth!

May I end this “JOY STORY” with hope, truth and the revelation of Jesus Christ:
