I’m the type of woman who hates putting things off…
In fact, I love to have projects on a calendar, things completed early; planning ahead is a lot of fun and victory for me!
Yeah!
My husband?
Yes! I will go there! I can because we’ve been married since September 28, 1979, and being nearly now sixty-eight, it’s safe to say we’re committed!
Yeah!
I’ve never been the type of gal to say, “You love me, don’t you?” Whenever I hear that I think of an insecure soul or someone who realizes (perhaps in the back of her head) he’s not trustworthy…
Selah.
I never settled for Duane even though I had a passionate crush on a Catholic boy for years and years. (Since becoming a Christian I’ve prayed for him, his wife, and family.) God is good!
Always!
Recently, the dog food container needed to be filled. Duane had purchase a really huge bag of dry dog food. He thought he could fill it up tomorrow (One of his favorite words! Ladies?) I told him this morning because there wouldn’t be enough in the morning…
He willing – and yes, grudgingly – obliged. (That man loves me!)
ONE OF THE GREAT PARTS OF BEING MARRIED: I can tease him, be firm when necessary (him too!) and we are still one!
God is good!
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
