ANOTHER CLOSE ENCOUNTER…. OF THE CRABBY KIND
Crabby kind indeed!

This is a story of a close encounter with a woman who loved to tell people she has cancer. And how she became very upset with me because I gave her the answer! Believe it or not…

Beloved: start listening to people taking great pains (don’t forgive the pun) to detail their sickness, their meds, their struggles with such impressive medical knowledge of their personal affliction. And then: compare that with their knowledge and/or willingness to embrace God’s gospel such as:

 

3 John 1:2
Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

 

I, FOR ONE, LOVE TO BELIEVE GOD!

I am thankful beyond measure that I also hate evil – every evil under the sun!
Here’s an incomplete list…

• child abandonment
• lack of love
• jealousy
• false love
• lies
• racial prejudice
• false religions
• rape
• adultery
• lust
• drugs
• drunkenness
• ugly, demonic pride
• purposeful false teachings from false Christians
• cowardice
• Satan and his gang
• & sickness!

 

Returning to the subject of sickness and disease:
such as a ‘big one’ — cancer. It angers me justifiably when I give someone the answer to the cure, to deliverance and they refuse to believe it! They pay no heed! They DON’T EVEN CONSIDER GOD!!!

And the answer is:

 

Isaiah 53:4-6
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

 

RIGHT ALONG WITH THESE TRUTHS AS WELL:

 

1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

 

Psalm 103:2-5
Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

 

Luke 4:40
At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.

 

Acts 5:16
Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

 

ONCE AGAIN regarding cancer and speaking to this woman: she HAD TO bring up the fact that she wore a cap because she had cancer. She had already told me: and I HAD ALREADY TOLD HER THE ANSWER ON A DIFFERENT DAY! BELOVED: those of you who fear God and those of you who don’t – consider this:

 

Hebrews 10:31
It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

 

Why is this true? Beloved, having no fear of God is deadly unto spiritual death which when in full bloom upon physical death (or before) Hell is your next home…  God’s wrath must be honored. God’s love must be in correct perspective: His authority must be willingly believed and acted upon, or perish, one will…

 

John 3:36
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

 

So many people eagerly and rightfully declare John 3:16 to help the sinners see their worth:

 

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

 

But we must embrace the total character of God Almighty. He is holy, holy, holy. We must see Him as perfect in all He does…  And He tells us we are healed. He tells us we are forgiven. He tells us we must repent and turn from sin:

 

Luke 13:1-5
Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?  I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.  Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

 

Yes, this woman was very angry that I told her exactly: “I will never have cancer. Jesus’ has healed me. Read about His stripes in Isaiah 53!”  Does it seem reasonable to a loving person that one is right to be angry when another claims her perfect health and her right to that health because of God’s promises?! Certainly not!

NOTE: remember (or please read from this site: AN INTERESTING ENCOUNTER) about the ballistic woman I attempted to minister to her and a young, very handicapped and tortured young man in her ‘care’… When I started speaking of the stripes Jesus Christ bore for our infirmities she truly, truly went ballistic! She was fiercely agitated and raised her voice frantically! Can you believe this? That exactly shows how so very many people hate Jesus and deny His sacrificial sufferings…

You know, in my earliest years of prison ministry I also wrote very Christian-based letters to different men. One tried to get money from me and was very angrily ugly when I set him straight. The other wanted romance from me, a married Christian woman! He, too, I set straight. I stopped writing to them and gave them challenging rebukes. That, my friends, is what they needed. They needed to accept truth in all aspects of their lives. They needed to accept only what I was offering them – the gospel of Jesus Christ. I haven’t thought of them for years. It’s totally up to them how they are doing.

Do not ever fear challenging the lying liars, the uniformed, the misinformed, those who are involved in false religions, false churches. Ask our good God for opportunities to brag on Him (that’s just another way of saying to glorify Him.) Historical records and every topic on Earth have proved Jesus true (such as science.) Fight the good fight and fight the bully, the liar, the doubter, the hater, the hypocrite with the sword of the Spirit!

When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.
