“You weren’t ready…”
Are you kidding me!?

Sometimes Christians get things wrong. (And: I take a great pleasure by saying: “Duh!”) I’ll say it again: “Duh!”  Even pastors can be wrong! Why? Who is the only One who is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient? Right! God, the One who created all!

With that in mind, I want you to grow and think like the Berean Jews in Acts:

 

Acts 17:11
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

 

That’s right! Don’t automatically put your mind in obedience-gear by accepting just any teaching you may hear from just anyone (even your own pastor) and do not treat it as gospel when it is not.

I strongly believe most people are not equipped to die:

 

Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

 

Selah.

Yet we Christians have proven Scriptures (very numerous Scriptures) regarding our rights to:

• a long life
• peace with God
• peace in the Church
• love
• peace in our thoughts
• health
• prosperity
• forgiveness
• godly relationships
• mercy
• security
• and more

 

Sadly and truly even a lot (if not most) Christians do not attain and retain what Christ Jesus has already done for us…

CASE IN POINT:
Have you ever had someone say to you: “You weren’t ready.”? I have. And you know what? As I am a mature daughter of God I know that is one of the stupidest statements ever made! These are falsely caring words that may help a person choose eternal separation from the One who loves him most…  Encouraging anyone that is not their fault they are not right with God is endorsing a curse. And just what happens to people who put God off and ‘suddenly’ die in their sins because they were not ready?! Hell! Eternal separation from God is never, never acceptable to Him: Let’s look at 2 Peter 3:9:

 

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

 

People perish to the fiery lake of burning sulfur because they hate God; they don’t want to know Him, love Him, worship Him. And He will not let that pass!

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.  For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

 

Amazingly, I recently and briefly talked with a woman at my church I did not know — my church in which the pastor does not compromise the Bible. (My church is a true part of the Church: not a lukewarm, dying, false, or dead church.)  And yet in our short conversation as I told her my joy and blessing of not dying in my twenties and not going to Hell where I deserved to go, this is what she said: “You weren’t ready.”

This woman was older than I am and should have known far better…

I truly wonder at her beliefs; and question her Christianity.

Let me ask you: how much do you think she mourns, weeps, and wails over loved ones outside the love of God, refusing Him as I did once upon a time? How often does she pray for those (and that is including people she doesn’t know) to come to Christ, have that blessed relationship with God and man, and know they are forgiven, healed, and on the right path to God’s heavenly home?

How often? Sure makes me wonder how concerned she is about people going to Hell! And yet, she was very social…  But social in what way?

HERE’S THE FINAL PROCLAMATION OF THIS ARTICLE:
You can’t possibly dare to put off God. As anyone outside His covenant could die at any time, they need to shift and decide to be prepared for life after death: life after death then spiritual death – the lake of fire. Life after death then spiritual eternal life… Heaven!
My prayer for any of you who read this and isn’t ready to shake the stupidity out of your head, your soul, your spirit; shake forever off the lies of Satan, his demonic realm, his people AND those who truly may be children of God. I rightly urge you to stop being a liar and love the God you know exists!

But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Romans 1:18-21

God in Heaven,

I come to You in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus. I have sinned. I now believe and know that Jesus is fully God, fully Man. He lived a sinless life and took all of my sickness and infirmities in His body. He died on the cross for my sins. I believe and know that He was raised from the dead so I might be saved from Hell and have eternal life in Your Kingdom with you forevermore.

Jesus, I ask you to be my only Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins and wash them away with Your holy blood; never to be remembered again. Please take my sickness or any health issue I have by the stripes You endured for all mankind…

I will now strive to live my life for You to my best ability and with the help of You, Holy Spirit, I strive to seek You, study You and worship You all the days of my life, which are forever, amen!

I denounce Satan and his kingdom now and forevermore!

I also ask to be baptized in You, Holy Spirit, with the evidence of this by praying in other tongues, my heavenly language.

(To receive your heavenly language – take it by faith – just as you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Simply start speaking syllables – do not say anything in your known language/s. It WILL come – just believe. Satan will tell you it is false – never listen to the father of lies. Pray in tongues every day!)

Thank You, God, for forgiving me, cleansing me, healing me in every way, staying with me and praying with me.

Isaiah 53:4-5
