Do you truly believe and know we are living in victorious times? I do! Yes, if you love God and study Him, you know that He is perfect! And, He never sins…

And: He is in charge! Victory!

For all of us who know truth, we are at peace. We have studied Him and His Word (they are equal) as we are instructed to. We have gone from milk to meat; and like the Bereans, we are more noble than those in Thessalonica at the time the Bible was written because we examine the Scriptures rather than put our faith in a person who is not fully God/fully Man: Jesus!

HOW CAN I SAY THIS?
How can I say this… and be right?!

BECAUSE: God says so! And He has told us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling…

From the beginning of mankind God knew. He knew Adam would rebel and He already knew how Adam would be able to stay in his God’s Kingdom. This first created man, Adam, was told to rule on Earth. When Adam chose to go his own way, listening to his suitable helper, his wife Eve, God was not done with him! No. Herewith is the first Bible prophecy:

 

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”
Genesis 3:15

 

God separated Adam and Eve from Satan; making them eternal enemies. Yet He allowed Satan to continue to tempt this first couple… Not a huge event when God is your defender! After all, Paul said his afflictions were light and momentary…

But Adam’s sin had to be rectified: and God did so. Making clothes out of animal skins, this blood covered Adam’s transgression. At the appointed time, Jesus, the Second Adam, washed Adam’s guilt away…  Never to be remembered again.

But: Satan, the serpent, the enemy of your soul, in the precise and proper time, will be forever restrained from those who love the only true and living, eternal God. That old serpent, the devil, is not granted the opportunity to repent:

 

And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:10

 

Satan is on the prowl and he is looking constantly to slaughter, steal, and destroy. He succeeds only with those who believe his lies…

SO: what is a child of God to do? In the midst of this fallen world where we hear of, see, and/or feel either persecution of Israel (God’s chosen people) His Church, rumors of war and wars, famines, earthquakes, great hatred to others without justification what is a child of God to do?! Take your place and stand:

 

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.  Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

RESIST SATAN: EMBRACE GOD!

 

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.  Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us?  But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.  Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom.  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
