COFFEE & LAVENDAR are jut two of the things I have enjoyed many times over the years. Yes, I have many remembrances of both in all kinds of circumstances. Lavendar lilacs are my favorite flower because of an absolutely beautiful welcome (from the hospital) as a tiny tot!
SWEET MEMORIES are something you need to cultivate to have a beautiful life…
NOTE: This is exactly what my ministry is all about! Joy eternal through God! Beloved: it is a choice: it is the choice loving people choose and fight the good fight to maintain, prosper and grow. Like a fragrant garden, life smells sweet and is when you pray, water, sow, and weed… Friends, this is no pie in the sky, nor an asinine claim. This, I must stress, is Bible. Our good God is just that – good. And He is good all the time. He is, was, and ever will be holy, holy, holy. You can learn a lot from Him and more when you believe Him and grow in wisdom: His wisdom.

If any of you remember, God asked me to classify my childhood in one word, saying: “If you used one word to say what your childhood was, what would it be?” “Horrible.” I answered. So stop your complaining and learn from me; remembering that all your theology must be in line with the Bible first, foremost – every time! God the Father, Son, and Spirit only endorse your beliefs through His written Word – the Bible.
COFFEE & LAVENDAR…
One of the things I do regularly are my crafts. These days because I am now sixty-five (this is 2021) I am alone quite a bit of my days. But not totally, don’t forget! God is with me always. And as I do my crafts, always with great enjoyment, I will listen to beautiful programs, looking up at the spots that are so cute and beautiful that I will often cry joyful tears.
Selah.
One of the programs is the Family Affair series. I recently watched one named ‘Freddie.’ At one point Freddie/Frederica is complemented by Buffy on her perfume, Lilac Time. It was a lovely scene; the entire episode blessed my soul. And as I watch these kinds of programs, I am taking a coffee break, crafting, enjoying the sweet message in Family Affairs and other terrific programs, and cuddling either my puppy or cat on my lap, or both. I am making a sweet memory… I meditate on the beauty of each person and how they relate to each other. I look for the moral in the story. I even finish the ending in my mind… (Always a good one!)
Beloved and crabby:
It is imperative that you choose life and deliberately create precious memories. This is one of mine! Stir yourself up with joy! The joy of the LORD is your strength! I entreat you to focus your entire being on what the joy is you are called to embrace: God’s joy! After all, He does have a plan and a purpose for you. He had one for since the beginning!
Enjoy coffee & lavendar with me!
Make memories!!
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS JOY STORY:
1 Timothy 6:6-12
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
