ADVICE FOR THE WIFE:
ALL IN ONE MOST JOYOUS STORY!
TO ALL OF YOU GODLY FATHERS:
Thank you! Thank you for striving to be man of God father and for those of you with young children, a daddy!
I agree with others who say: “Anyone can make a baby. Any man can become a father; but not every man is a daddy!” Fathers are more important than I am able to convey. (Why do you think Satan so mocks manhood, fatherhood, marriage, love a man has for his own mother?!)
I am reflecting now on men who truly want their children and count them a blessing as they should:
Psalm 127
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
A godly man marries the mother of his children and in God’s eyes it simply must be before these precious gifts are created by the Maker of all creation. The strong father and husband treat his wife as Christ tells him to; as the Church.
To be a strong and most blessed father, the wise man submits to God, his Father, and strives to be perfect: and when he fails, repents thankfully and speedily.
Amen.
God is never wrong and a strong man of God can be an enormous benefit not just to his family. Society is made up of family and when we work out our salvation with fear and trembling: God is glorified and His people are blessed!
Today, I thank only the fathers who love their heavenly Father and strive to be that godly, manly role model!
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HATE GOD:

NOW FOR THE WOMEN:
YOU ARE NOT ALL HIS FUN…
Hang onto your hats, your lipsticks, your crafts, your gaggle of girlfriends… your man needs more than you alone! As beautiful as you are, as great as your kisses and perfume delight, your sweet whispers, your alluring bedroom eyes captivate – your handsome, phenomenal godly husband may love to hunt and fish! Your guy may enjoy bouncing a silly old ball with his pals… Maybe he would just like some quiet time (Come on! You know how we are!)
Selah.
Summed up simply and beautifully: God not only gave your husband a desire for romantic love: he also needs other men, other interests. He needs his mama, his father.
This is the biblical order of the family: God, husband, wife, children, work. That is the style God wants your dearly beloved and treasured to work out for himself and you and your children!
Amen and amen!
So, if you want an exceptional marriage: share him! And don’t just do it to squelch fights… do it out of respect, appreciation, and romantic love!
Genesis 2:18
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Please note: I have been married going on forty-three years! And I can tell you, it feels great to be so understanding to Duane’s needs and wants: and to even (by my own suggestion!) be willing to celebrate our anniversary on a different date! What a great gal! (Seriously: all glory to God for the love He has and is teaching me!)
Give your husband, your children, society, and yourself a Happy Father’s Day!
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS JOY STORY:
Genesis 2:18
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
Psalm 128
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life. May you live to see your children’s children—peace be on Israel.
Proverbs 13:24
Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.
Proverbs 27:19
As water reflects the face,so one’s life reflects the heart.
Ephesians 5:25-27
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Revelation 19:11
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.
AND FOR THE WOMEN:
Proverbs 12:4
A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.
Proverbs 31:10-12
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
Proverbs 18:22
He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
