AND CHOOSES NOT TO DISTANCE HIMSELF…
DO YOU?
THE YEAR IS STILL 2022.
Some people still refer to the very satanic term ‘social distancing.’
Pity.
This certainly is a term Christ Jesus has and never will use.
‘Social distancing’…
I hope this repels you as much as it does me!
Let’s go back in time and take several instances from the Bible where God is surrounded by people of old.
Let’s start in the Old Testament with a man called Naaman. You can read about Naaman, a commander of the army of the king of Aram in Second Kings, chapter five of the Bible, God’s written word. Naaman is referred to as a valiant soldier; and he had leprosy.
A young Israeli girl had been taken captive, serving Naaman’s wife. This young Jew counseled the wife to have Naaman see a prophet in Samaria in order for him to be cured of leprosy…
Naaman chose to be unwilling in the beginning to do as the prophet said: “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” (2 Kings 5:10) After listening to his servants earnestly advise him, Naaman went down to the Jordan and did as he was told. Pride rebuked, this man’s flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy!
Social distancing? How close do you think Naaman got to his master, his servants, and to God’s prophet?!
Do you know leprosy was considered highly contagious? It was.
Selah.
In the Bible leprosy may have been counted as other types of skin maladies, but still… Did Naaman lock himself in his home, never traversing anywhere? Did he deal with people through texts and emails only?
Oh! But that was before covid you say! Read this full story and you will find the truth about covid and other satanic attacks. The choice is yours, always has been, to believe God before you believe any man, any organizational agendas, or any religious leader.
Selah.
And then there’s the case of the woman with the issue of blood in the book of Luke, the eighth chapter. This woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years (I can’t imagine her distress!) not only came into the crowd, but had the determination to touch the edge of the Son of God’s cloak!
I can’t keep quiet right now (or ever):
Acts 5:29
Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!
This in response to the command given to them not to teach in this name, the name above every name:
Philippians 2:9-11
For this reason also God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
God is to be obeyed rather than man! If there is a dispute, man is in the wrong always. God is God and we all are His created. Man’s laws never come before God’s. (See First Timothy, chapter one regarding the evils of slavery, for example.)
Beloved, this woman refused her curse: and, she refused to listen to people when she knew what she had to do! Of course she was healed! She knew whose cloak she touched and she knew the power this Man has!
Selah.
The brave, tenacious, and healed woman had deliberately made her way where she was not allowed to go; through crowds that almost crushed Him! She had been labeled unclean.
What is she had accepted social distancing? What if she had chosen to remain isolated, looked down upon by her neighbors, seemingly useless to them? Reminds me: what would Hitler have done?
Did you ever hear about the large crowds Jesus drew? There goes the shame God never puts on large churches! Does Jesus want only on 144,000 in Heaven? Is there room for more?
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
It is not God’s will for people to be cursed. Adam brought that into the world: and we receive God’s blessing through the faith He has given His own.
Selah.
Because He wants the best for us, obviously, our Father in Heaven doesn’t want us going physically hungry either. Consider again, the lack of social distancing as God provides food for the hungry. Go now to Mark, chapter six and read about the great crowd that followed Jesus. How many does the Word of God say Jesus fed?
Mark 6:39-44
Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
Please note here: The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand. Do you think these men ate in front of their wives and children, not allowing them to eat?
Remember when you have a picnic, Jesus loves people and parties! He is more than able to feed all people and have them gather together. In other words, Jesus is against social distancing.
Aren’t you?
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS JOY STORY:
THE BIBLE IS GOD’S WORD:
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.
2 Peter 1:20-21
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
JESUS IS THE SON OF MAN:
Matthew 26:62-64
Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.” “You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
GOD’S BLESSING FOR PERFECT HEALTH:
Psalm 103:1-5
Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Matthew 8:16
When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
1 Peter 2:24
“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Finally, another type of crowd, not all of whom were social. Go with me now to the book of Acts, chapter seventeen.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
