HUSBANDS: choose an honorable wife!

TRUST: it is a key issue to success in any and every relationship. When love is pure, when love is holy; honesty has to be a part of it. You can’t have joy without God: and you cannot have God without honesty.

Liars don’t enter the Kingdom…

Proverbs 12:21-22
No harm overtakes the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble. The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.

Colossians 3:5-11
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.  Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.  But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.  Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices  and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.  Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

The fact and in truth: most marriages fail when there is a lack of it! This is exactly what is happening today!

I am trustworthy! And Duane knows it! We’ve been married since September 1979.

When Duane goes on hunting and fishing trips, to the Boundary Waters or elsewhere, whether it’s three days or six, I get some fun (and I do mean fun!) spending money for myself.

Carefully I make a list and keep tab of what it all costs. I don’t show him the prices of anything! Why? RIGHT! He trust me!

He very well knows he will never come home unexpectedly and find me with another man, drunk, drugged, or stupid…

I’ve always needed a man! In fact, years ago a very bitter (and very mean) woman claimed, “I don’t need a man!”  By the way, she did have children. I got so mad at her lie I mocked her and laughed gleefully, “I do!”
