Now that Christmas is over for most people (personally, we’re celebrating very late so our entire family can join us) people have asked me, of course: “How was your Christmas?” 

NOW MY FATHER, always wants me to witness, fight the good fight, and stamp on the devil’s head! Without being condescending in any way, I examine the fruit of each individual who asks me this. In 2015, December, I posted an enlightening story entitled: THE HYPOCRITE’S HOLIDAY. I stand by this declaration and urge those of you who haven’t read it to do so.

WE CHRISTIANS are to be salt and light to the lost and dying; willing to die for Christ! I am.

As as one person, again did indeed ask me “How was your Christmas?” The Lord of all gave this man another opportunity to come clean and not celebrate only A Hypocrite’s Holiday…

My heart is right, my intentions are holy. I told him about my celebration of Jesus. And he actually said that he didn’t know about that. Hypocrite right there! Jesus is not a that! Jesus is a He – everyone knows that! This man went on: to him Christmas was all about presents and more presents. I love being bold – but I love even more being holy. I love being honest. I responded without hesitation: “Yes. I’ve had a lot of meaningless Christmases too.” 

He didn’t say another word.

He may be irritated to see me now. Who cares?! I gave him a challenge that most people never cared enough to give me. The next time I saw him and commented that I hadn’t seen him for a while he told me he was trying to avoid me. I believe him. It might not be a joke… “Jokes” can be a front for a truth. Say what you mean, mean what you say and don’t care about being polite, be holy as He is holy. Don’t be sneaky. Confidence in your beliefs negates cowardice.

BELOVED: if you get to know my character I am not a hypocrite and I pointed out to him that I used to be like him; now I celebrate Christmas – not a fake, empty and lonely Christmas with the Guest of Honor not invited!

I am telling you! Devil be damned! He will!
