I think it is hilarious that even American dogs are fussy eaters! My beautiful and smart Terrier rescue, Tina, discovered she likes pizza crust…
We recently started giving her just little pieces because she’s got those beautiful brown eyes, using a beseeching look to go with them. She knows it’s hard to say “No.” to her because she realizes she’s fully cherished as God would have us to do.
So, Tina will get only four little pieces of crust. However, not just any crust! Tina loves Carbone’s best. She might settle for Rocco’s and Topper’s – but mainly she’ll try crusts to make certain if she likes them. Cold Topper’s crust was acceptable this morning.
So now when we order our Friday night pizza, I’ll tell Duane: “Tina wants Carbone’s!”
