TRUTH IS GOD…
Selah.
Because I grew up in a sinner’s home I know what it is like to ignore God. I did this on purpose for many, many years. I wanted my way… everything my way. And I planned a life for myself so I could do that. Life was very hard at home. But, I will never forget when I was probably twelve years old or younger, I was again at the hospital. My dad had Multiple Sclerosis. He was a mess physically and mentally. I felt like I had a dad only for the first seven years of my life. It was horrible for him and it was the same for me and the rest of my family. For years the sound of choking would terrify me…
Everyone in life experiences beautiful moments and harsh.
My family and I were constantly going to the hospital to visit my father. At one particular hospital (he went to different ones) was a stunning mural. You saw it on your left when you first came in; it was quite large, probably life-size. I will never – never – forget seeing this mural. I was standing far into the main entry, looking at this truly magnificent work of art from a side, left view. As I gazed in awe at this beautiful and meaningful mural for the first time I saw Jesus, holding a shepherd’s hook with probably seven sheep around Him. You know: I knew who He was and I knew that He was God! And what did this stupid little girl do? I pushed Him away. I absolutely loved the mural and I knew. I knew. God was calling me and I said, “No.” I wasn’t willing to honor Him. I wasn’t willing to let Him lead me and shepherd me, take charge of my life. I was focused on my way, my pleasure, my life. I wanted eventually to get out of a horrible family life and fulfill my dreams… I pushed Him away, thinking maybe much later in my lifetime…
Stupid, huh? I am so grateful for every opportunity I have to tell people: “I’m so thankful I didn’t die in my twenties. I would have gone straight to Hell!” Why? Because I knew. I knew without anyone teaching me about who God is. I knew. And to this day I remember this experience when the Holy Spirit was calling me to come…
Beloved,
As tears are in my eyes, thinking of all of you who are broken, lost and speaking lies to everyone every time you smile, pretending and telling yourself, “It’s okay.” I ask you now to go back in time and ask God to show the times He has called to you as He had to me; as He has to everybody…
Selah.
God does not want to be separated from you any longer. He never did!
Matthew 11:28-29
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
BE LIKE ME: CHANGE YOUR FOCUS!
God in Heaven,
I come to You in the name of Your only begotten Son, Jesus. I have sinned. I believe and know that Jesus is God. He lived a sinless life, took all my sickness and infirmities and died on the cross for my sins. I believe and know that He was raised from the dead so I might be saved and have eternal life in Your Kingdom.
Jesus, I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me of my sins and wash them away with Your holy blood – never to be remembered again.
I will now strive to live my life for You to my best ability and with the help of You, Holy Spirit. I strive to seek You, study You and worship You all the days of my life, which are forever, amen!
I denounce Satan and his kingdom now and forevermore!
I also ask to be baptized in You, Holy Spirit, with the evidence of this by praying in other tongues, my heavenly language. (To receive your heavenly language – take it by faith – just as you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Simply start speaking syllables – do not say anything in your known language/s. It WILL come – just believe. Satan will tell you it is false – never listen to the father of lies. Pray in tongues every day!)
Thank You, God, for forgiving me, cleansing me, staying with me and praying with me.
In Jesus name, I pray this, amen.
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS MOST JOYOUS PRAYER:
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
Romans 10:9-10
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Acts 2:4
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
1 Corinthians 14:2
For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED! YOU MUST CONTINUE YOUR RELATIONSHIP AS A CHILD OF GOD!
LIVE THIS WAY:
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Hebrews 3:14
We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.
Revelation 3:5
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
