AS WE HEAR OF THE TRIBULATIONS so many people are going through now – in this day and age… the most recent hurricane sends my thoughts first to Florida. I am an American. I think first of my fellow countrymen. No shame one me: I have more in common with them than those of other governments. I do fully realize that hurricanes, floods, fires, earthquakes are happening in so very many places throughout the world, which God has given man dominion over…
And as these horrific events occur, I often hear comments about prayers for the people.
GOOD! GREAT!! WONDERFUL!!!
IF…
They ARE prayers to GOD!
Yes! To God: not to a fake god, not to a made-up god, not to a people-pleasing god, not to a god of another religion – because that would be an empty effort, a useless use of words…
Selah
Let me tell you and tell you again: God is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He is I AM! He is the only true God of the Bible, including the Old Testament and the New Testament. He is the God of Israel whose covenant is everlasting and not replaced:
Jeremiah 32:36-41
“You are saying about this city, ‘By the sword, famine and plague it will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon’; but this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I will surely gather them from all the lands where I banish them in my furious anger and great wrath; I will bring them back to this place and let them live in safety. They will be my people, and I will be their God. I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me and that all will then go well for them and for their children after them. I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good to them, and I will inspire them to fear me, so that they will never turn away from me. I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul.
Genesis 12:1-3
The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Romans 11:26-27
and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: “The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
Genesis 13:14-17
The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.”
Romans 11:1
I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
God made covenant with Israel forever. God made Israel a great nation. All Israel will be saved. God made His covenant with Israel everlasting.
Thus: Israel’s covenant prayers to God are to the true, living God: the God of hope, the God of peace, the God of joy! The God of resurrection!
AND THE GENTILES WHO BELIEVE IN THIS ONE, TRUE GOD have been grafted in! Thank God!
Christians are Abraham’s seed:
Galatians 3:29
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
John 10:16
I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
GOD – not man – WROTE THE BIBLE – IT IS ONE BOOK. IT CANNOT BE SEPARATED AND BE COMPLETE.
JEWISH BELIEVERS AND CHRISTIANS ARE BRETHREN.
And we serve the same God, the only true God.
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.
2 Peter 1:20-21
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Enemies of Israel and Jesus, the Jewish Messiah, be warned: your prayers fall on deaf ears! You are in extreme danger! God has warned you! AND YOU KNOW THIS!
John 9:31
We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.
To all of you who extend your prayers for those suffering – read the Bible and know – only God can answer them, only God can save you, only God created you…
P.S. I sincerely thank my, President Donald J. Trump, for his prayers!
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
