TODAY IS A VERY CRITICAL AND MEMORABLE DAY
to reflect on the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King was born this day, January 15, back in 1929…

His beautiful “I Have a Dream” speech was on August 28, 1963. Born on April 9, 1956, I was seven years old at that time: and yet God Almighty blessed me with hearing just some of the very most precious words ever heard spoken! And, I understood them! Easy to say, I have always loved Dr King since!
HEREWITH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE
teachings I was privileged to share in the men’s prison Bible study when I was leading it: the biblical truth about prejudice. One of the very beautiful things God taught as a child was that a Black man and a White woman could get married. This is beautiful! It is a special love! Yes, beloved, God does great teachings to little children, even those who are being raised in an ungodly environment… Without a doubt, what God told me as a child, He did teach me, for it is truly in line with His Word – the Bible. Isn’t God amazing?!

To this day, sixty years later, I have never forgotten the experience. I heard just a little of Dr. King’s speech; but I did hear the key element. God saw to that… From that day on I have always, always fully embraced the beauty and truth of his words. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had then become one of my forever heroes; and after my conversion, I became his sister in Christ! Alleluia! Amen!
ON AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY
in the prison Bible study, God once again had a supreme lesson for men who had been beat down and acted out criminally. (Please keep in mind that that I never justify sin as God does not. Also, some of the incarcerated men are innocent of the accused crime for which they are held. This does happen.)

God had once again given me a great privilege in the prison setting. I spoke of my hero, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and my experience of hearing just some of his words as a child of seven. I took these incarcerated men to the Bible… The Bible has every answer to every situation.

I can’t recall, but something was going on yet again in the world about prejudice and unrest. Nothing new under the sun. (Read the book of Ecclesiastes.) One of my favorite teachings: to demolish the strongholds of Satan regarding prejudice. It can and should be demolished by truth. Someday it will be totally eradicated!
Here we go:
In the Bible, the New Testament was written in Koine Greek. There is a Greek word, ἔθνος, which is pronounced eth’-nos. I cannot tell you how excited I am to share this with you! Of course, there shall remain doubters on Earth until Jesus separates the sheep and goats. Truly, that is their problem (the goats).

Go with me to Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21:
Matthew 24:7
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mark 13:8
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
Luke 21:10
Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Nation is equal to this Greek word, ἔθνος. And, ἔθνος also represents ethnicity! What an eye-opener! This is just one of Satan’s evil agendas, deceiving many by separating people in inducing the lie of superiority or inferiority due to the color of one’s skin… Only stupid, evil people believe this.

One can see this horrific effect of Satan’s devices to steal, slaughter, and destroy:
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
The thief, of course, is Satan who is the enemy of your soul
Note: Satan wants you not only slaughtered physically, destroyed in all manner; he wants you burning in Hell! And: he wants you miserable in your dealings with people until you get there! Don’t go! Put the Bible as your anchor to loving God, yourself, and others!!
I WAS THRILLED
to empower the men at prison with more knowledge and wisdom (for those who didn’t already know.) In only a few short minutes I was able to impress upon them that one of Satan’s very infamous lies is: “You are superior because of your skin color!” or equally infamous: “You are inferior because of your skin color!” I am telling you: any thinking person should know that’s a lie! You know you were born without choosing your sex, your height at full growth, the tone of your voice, and your skin color! Settle that…

God is the Great Creator! He loves variety! He loves to bring beauty! God has created men in His image and likeness:
Genesis 1:26-28
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Beloved, taking Scriptures, breaking down this Koine Greek word (and it was just one word here that is bondage-breaking) and putting Satan’s subterfuge into the study, this particular lie of his is easily exposed.

Now let’s move on…
SATAN AND HIS KINDGOM:
only deceived and demented people can believe justifiably the skin color gives or takes away the value of a man.

Who did God create? Mankind.
Who does God love? Mankind.
Who are His children?
Those who love Him and return and seek to live for Him: and be willing to die for Him!
Revelation 12:11
They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
WE ARE ALL FROM ADAM:
simply the truth! Some might want to tell me I’m wrong. God won’t because I’m right.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (I’ll call him Martin in Heaven!) is a true hero for God and to man! However, his dream will not be fully realized until the separation of the sheep and goats…
but it will be realized!
Celebrate the wonderfulness of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today… and whenever God brings him to mind. Ask God to tell Dr. King, “Thank you! We still need brave and holy people like you!”
