BUT DON’T YOU BE DOING IT ALL THE TIME!
WHY?
I will get to it…
Within the page of this article is a unique challenge; a challenge which is (as all my writings are geared for) to point you in the direction of the command: Be holy as I am holy:
1 Peter 1:13-25
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.
Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.
Beloved, I want all people in Heaven. God does! We all are not to want less than He does, nor more.
Sadly and truly all are not and more will be consigned to the pit of Hell. Again: why? Their choice…
Selah.
And that is why I am an author, called to write to people around the world to love God, love people, repent, rebuke, and grow in Christ, gaining more wisdom… And as we grow in Christ Jesus: the good works will follow the true believer. The Scripture below sums up my hopes and prayers for you:
3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
NOTE: and for all of our Jewish brethren who stand in their Abrahamic Covenant if they are not Messianic Jews. God annunciates: “All Israel will be saved.”
Genesis 17:7
I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
Genesis 26:5-6
I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and will give them all these lands, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.”
Romans 1:25-27
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:
“The deliverer will come from Zion;he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this ismy covenant with themwhen I take away their sins.”
EASY TO SEE — THE CHURCH HAS NOT
– HAS NOT –
REPLACED ISRAEL!
AND NOW THE ANSWER to:
Smiling is great… but don’t you be doing it all the time!
Why?
Because, Beloved, you’d have to be either an absolute liar, a hypocrite, or brain-dead to never grieve!
Selah.
Yes! I claim joy eternal! This is the crux of my mission: to aid all I can to come to Christ Jesus, grow in Him, and stay in and with Him eternally! Joy eternal is possible and is only found, attained, and retained through Christ Jesus. He is the one who can give us joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1 Peter 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
BUT KEEP IN MIND,
in fact, never forget: Jesus grieved!
John 11:35
Jesus wept.
This story in John 11, I’m going to let you read or re-read for yourselves.
Selah.
Beloved, we are to seek the heart of God. How then can we never grieve?
For those of us who listen to local news, national news, world news: do we not hear of rapes, kidnappings, murders?! Are there not fires, floods, and earthquakes going on? Make a picture in your mind of a little child starving in a country where the main religion is not of God. There are innumerable foul creatures in the demonic realm, with Satan heading them up, to deceive those who are blind, naked, miserable, and poor. Cry for that child born into such a family, a family who do not lead him or her into God’s ways…
Selah!
Yes! Selah! Pause, meditate, pray, that our Great God and Creator reminds you of the horrific effects of The Fall which entered through Adam. That was not God’s will.
People die every day. How then can we who know Hell is real not be sickened at the thought of people headed there? How can we? We can’t.
Ecclesiastes is a must read:
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
Verse four:
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
Have a hurting heart…
at the proper time!
Selah.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
