I’VE HEARD PEOPLE SAY there’s no one to talk to, no one who would understand.
You know, it’s so interesting: even when I was a little girl in grade school I felt as though I was never truly alone. I never knew why at that point in my life. Remember, God was not hallowed in our home. Just the opposite. And now that I am a child of God and have been for, thankfully over forty years, I know who God is and what care He continually lavishes upon me.
Selah!
NOTE: This is a great opening to help people: I will often say when talking about being a Christian – “I thank God I didn’t die in my twenties! I would have gone straight to Hell!”
How I love to share my love for our Godhead: Father, Son, Holy Spirit – One God in Three Persons! Beloved, please always look for that opening and help others to be grateful as you are!
Getting back to, “I have no one to talk to about this…”
Balderdash! You have God first and foremost. And if you don’t – you’d better change your lifestyle with its’ lack of love and awe for Him. Choose now love for yourself (true love), love for the Church, Israel, and for your enemies.
God would never leave you nor forsake you when you are His child.
In addition, God provides what you need and you need loved ones! That would be the Church, the true Church and Israel. We are the body of Christ and Jesus is the head of the body. Israel is God’s chosen people and they have given much to the world – starting with Messiah!
Don’t tell me: “No one cares!” “I’m all alone!” “I have no one to talk to about this!”
That is a lie…
Why, in the beginning Adam, who had all this unbroken beauty about him, still needed someone human! Ta-da! See how valuable we women are!
Selah.
Today, do not harden your hearts. Do not call God a liar! And follow Him as the precious and wise Apostle Paul has. Be willing to put God first and do things His way. The Holy Spirit will guide you.
You will never be alone when you are a child of God!
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS JOY STORY:
Deuteronomy 31:7-8
Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
1 John 4:19-21
We love because he first loved us. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
