WHAT TINA’S TALES ARE:
TINA’S TALES are short stories about our Terrier rescue mix. In addition, I’ll be pleasuring you with stories about other great dogs, or even other fur babies of different species. God has designed so many beautiful ones!
Friends, people have a great ability to love and are therefore always enamored by beauty! And dogs are beautiful! They definitely have a purpose which God has given them: some hunt, some protect, some only and always provide unfaltering companionship! They smile, they grin, they speak to you with waves from their tales! God created them for His pleasure and shares them with us!
And some are too dangerous to live…
Selah.
IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE: animals that kill people are judged… Don’t keep a dangerous dog!
Genesis 9:4-6
“But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being. “Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.
THE SWEET DOG…
RECENTLY I TOLD TINA: “You are a sweet dog! I won’t call you the “Sweetest” because others doggies are just as sweet… But you are sweet!”
Ain’t it the truth?! (I like this expression for emphasis!)
SIDE NOTE: When I was a little girl, we would say: “Ain’t ain’t a word and it ain’t in the dictionary!” What fun! Times have changed; but truth never does. That would be Jesus, the Godhead, (Father, Son, Holy Ghost) and the Bible, y’all.
GETTING BACK TO TINA:
Yes! As a blessed Puppy Mamma to Tina I’ve not only had beautiful dogs most all of my life; I’ve admired many, many other breeds I’ve never yet owned and yet adore!
I am especially wild about any breed that is brindled-colored! The fur is always unique to me (don’t see it much at all; but when I do, I leap inside with joy! It is gorgeous!) I’ve yet to own a Chihuahua. I want the kind that is a male with short fur, very, very round forehead, and pure white! These kind look to me like a big, big mouse! (I’d love one anyway in my house! Not the mouse!) A French Bulldog is also at the top of my list! I’ve seen many a darling video of these little cutie-pies!
And the list goes on…
Yes! Tina is a sweet, sweet dog! AND: she is very determined to get her way (and as we dog owners know, usually they all do!) She is pretty! Oh! So pretty! Her fur to me always looks much more like silky hair that I love to groom (and bathe weekly.) As she does not approve nor appreciate any grooming, she runs with unlimited joy when bath time is over! That, in itself, is a happy occasion to witness (and I witness her joy every time she’s done being washed!)
Tina knows the names of a lot of things! Here are just some:
Tina is a sweet and very beloved little girl. We could never replace her: but we can get a new dog when she’s passed on (yes! – into Heaven!) and love the new one just as much; but in different ways…
Selah.
And I tell Tina this. If it were up to me the day any of my pets leave I would get the next one, not the next day, but the same day, the very same day…
Selah.
Like dogs, people are irreplaceable! Love can be found in a new person though. He or she too will be different, yet just as precious, beautiful, fun, and wonderful!
Never give up on love!
Beloved: we are to love people, giving them encouragement and worth as God does. That’s why I don’t believe in beauty pageants: and personally, I would never accept any award for any Christian ministry I do. Christianity is never to be a competition!!! God is no respecter of persons…
Acts 10:23-36
Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests. The next day Peter started out with them, and some of the believers from Joppa went along. The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. “Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man myself.” While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean. So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?” Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’ So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.”
Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
Luke 14:7-11
When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
YES! ANIMALS DO GO TO HEAVEN,
they also have The Breath of Life!
Genesis 1:30
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.”
Psalm 36:6
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
Psalm 147:7-9
Sing to the Lord with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp. He covers the sky with clouds; he supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills. He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.
Isaiah 11:6-9
The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Genesis 2:7
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Genesis 7:2-3
Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate,
and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.
Genesis 6:19-20
You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.
Romans 8:18-23
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
