WHAT TINA’S TALES ARE:
TINA’S TALES are short stories specifically about our Terrier rescue mix, In addition, I’ll be pleasuring you with stories about other great dogs, or even other fur babies of different species. God has designed so many beautiful ones!
Friends, people with a great ability to love always are enamored by beauty! And dogs are beautiful! They always have a purpose which God has given them: some hunt, some protect, some only and always provide unfaltering companionship! God created them for His pleasure and shares them with us!
And some are too dangerous to live…
Selah.
IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE: animals that kill people are judged… Don’t keep a dangerous dog!
Genesis 9:4-6
“But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.
THEIR CREATOR GOD LOVES THEM, CARES FOR THEM, AND TAKES THEM BACK:
Genesis 1:30
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.”
Genesis 2:7
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.
Genesis 6:19-20
You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.
Genesis 7:2-3
Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth.
Psalm 36:6
Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
Psalm 104:21-22
The lions roar for their pretty and seek their food from God. The sun rises, and they steal away; they return and lie down in their dens.
Isaiah 11:6-9
The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Romans 8:18-23
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
JENNY, MY LITTLE DUTCH BUNNY
FUR BABIES come in all kinds of fur, with all kinds of colours. After all, God is the greatest artist and He is the Creator!
Selah.
If you love to cuddle something warm and furry, here is my Joy Story about a fur baby who wiggles her nose! A true story!
Get a smile!
ONCE UPON A TIME I had a little Dutch Bunny. She was truly very little… This girl was of the black and white breed. As a girl of ten, I loved her beauty. Her eyes struck me immensely; she had huge, beautiful brown eyes on the sides of her head. I found that interesting. Her tail was small, as well as her ears.
If you don’t know what Dutch Bunnies look like, you should find some pictures of them. They are absolutely adorable and beautiful!
I never really knew if Jenny was a girl.
NOTE:
This is a love story! I’ve always believed in love on first sight: I’ve experienced three times. The first was Jenny. The second was a gorgeous guy (I was thirteen and it wasn’t meant to be.) The third was Mahalia Jackson.
You should read my story about Mahalia. It’s entitled LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT; the date posted is February 23rd. In fact, I will repost it right after this Joy Story! (Good idea, Ann!)
I was in the fourth grade (I’ll never forget that) and it was the Easter season. (By the way, we still have that and the tomb IS empty!) I had been at a pet shop in West Saint Paul with my family and I first saw Jenny there. And: it was love at first sight! I wanted her!
My mother was very gracious and allowed me to go back and get her! My eldest brother, Fred, and I took the bus. The whole trip was a trip of excitement for me…
One of the best things ever said about me (and I loved this!) was from my second brother, Lynn. He told my mother, “You can tell Annie is going to be a good mother by the way she takes care of her animals.” It was true. At ten years old, no one ever had to tell me to feed Jenny, keep her cage clean, give her time and love. No one. This was just in me. And do you know who I give the credit for this to? God, of course:
Romans 5:5
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
I apply this to all the types of love: God has given us this action, emotion, and hope!

Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
