WHAT ABOUT 9-11?
UNDOUBTEDLY THERE IS TURMOIL in the world…
BUT: …
God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.
1 Corinthians 14:33
Beloved: we speak of peace in the Church. Christ is the head, the Christians are the body – the Church: not those who say they are Christians – but those who say and do. The book of James tells us explicitly:
If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my[ works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:15-20
As a true Christian, a child of God, one allows God to be God. What does this mean? It’s not that God is a God by design – it is that His people know Him, honor Him and willingly submit that He is the Supreme Authority. God is the designer – the Creator – the Savior. He also is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End: and the end of the age is what we are living in. This dispensation of grace is fading and the wrath of God is real. Way back in the day God’s wrath was declared – as God breathed the book of Romans through the Apostle Paul. He tells us:
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Romans 1:18-20
Don’t ever forget – Jesus Christ, Himself, tells us not to worry! And also – what about His declaration: For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? (Matthew 16:26.) Beloved, it is no good to fear man, simple. Fear of God – that is, reverential, deliberate awe of Him brings eternal life, peace and joy unspeakable.
What about the wicked? Why, God laughs at them! See it for yourself in Psalm 37:12-13:
The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.
SO: What about 9-11?
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11
There will be no peace on Earth until the Prince of Peace is worshipped and loved by all in His sight and those who reject Him are cast out of His presence.
This is 9-11: that at that time, the name of Jesus every knee should bow
in heaven
on earth
and under the earth!
AND:
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
For further wisdom: in the Koine Greek language (which the New Testament was written in) these Scriptures read:
For this reason, also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
