THIS ARTICLE IS SPEAKING TO SPIRITUAL ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH ONLY.
All the rest of you: I pray for those of you who still have the priceless opportunity to become a saint in the true Kingdom of God, do!
SOME THINGS BUG me…
and should you too.
One of them is when people pray, asking God to come to them!
Selah.
This was also on my husband’s mind; and to his credit goes this writing.
Years ago at a church we used to belong to (we have grown into more maturity since then) I was very, very irritated at a song the choir was singing: and singing beautifully, I might add.
This particular church did not teach many things – main doctrinal teachings – which are above the word ‘important’ – these teachings are ‘crucial.’ The pastors didn’t teach them; they didn’t endorse them.
We needed to leave…
Selah.
This was the reason we left. And, were justified to do so.
On the particular day the words to the song (beautifully sung) were performed, there was such a great irritation to me. These people willingly sang words in request to God to not pass them by…
PAUSE NOW
and study for yourselves (if you don’t know, hopefully you do) the biblical truth that God loves His saints.
SCRIPTURAL TRUTHS FOR THIS JOY STORY:
Deuteronomy 31:8
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Joshua 1:1-6
After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
John 14:15-18
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
He hears His children. He never ignores, nor passes us by. He is an ever-present help in times of our troubles!
Selah.
If you don’t believe God always loves His godly people, you’d better not only have an attitude adjustment – you better humble yourselves. God is God, never evil, never vile, never wrong. He breathed His written Word into existence and the Second Person of the Godhead is Christ Jesus, the living word.
Selah.
2 Peter 1:20-21
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is at work in you who believe.
Jesus is the Word, is God, is Creator:
John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
Beloved,
And I do mean only we saints, (spiritual Israel and the Church) God will never forsake you (although you may forsake Him. This is what an apostate is) and have your name blotted out of the Lamb’s book of life.
Your choice.
Remember His promises:
Never will our heavenly Father forsake us. He will strengthen and protect us. He will never leave us as orphans. We have the Advocate – the Spirit of truth! He’s with us to the very end of the age!
I encourage God’s holy people to change words to songs but never to the written Word, the Bible. Don’t sing unbiblical words in false worship. Don’t doubt God’s veracity.
Be like me and the Berean Jews:
Acts 17:11
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
Realize full truth and put it into practice: the Bible.
Don’t compromise, don’t fear man, the devil, of circumstances. Walk on water!
Hosea 4:6
my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
Growing up in a home without the love for God, an invalid father, heavy financial hardships, and tremendous (sometimes dangerous) discord is always difficult. Add on to that extreme shyness, a feeling of inferiority, and some may think this girl was rejected. But God’s hand was on her and His heart was for her. Today, Ann Marie Turner has performed many great services in Jesus’ name for the love of God and man; and for herself! She has ministered in the male correctional for over ten years. Along with this website, Ann is the author of Joy Stories, Volume One and The Free Incarcerated Man. Writing about the joy of the Lord and the victory that is available for a willing soul is one of Ann’s now greatest joys! Ann’s prayer for you is to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Celebrate the God of the Bible and your personal victories in Christ unceasingly! Revelation 12:11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
